But as usual, Microsoft, in order to maintain its financial profits, is fighting (directly & indirectly) against java & its progress. Now they are trying to make java, windows dependent or to use it in a activeX wrapper. And who knows what MS will try to do next!

can somebody tell me , why a programmer should learn and use a NEW , MORE LIMITED, and SLOWER programming language , if it will be still OS dependent ???
If I wanted to write Window specific application , I would do it in C , C++ , VB , ActiveX (the MS funniest Joke) or whatever .
I certainly would not write it in JAVA !!!

I think we should all support JAVA to ensure an independent and homogeneous system and a better technical future . So to show our opposition , I would like to ask all of you to add the ANTI MS-JAVA to your page and show the world that we don't want to be manipulated by Microsoft.

I will make a petition from all the pages with the logo on it and we will publicize it to the world. So Microsoft can realize that we are aware of what they are trying to do. Hoping this can help them to be more considerate in their next step.
