Please see the Instruction and help below for using this program.



Above you will see the chat window that consists of 5 parts:

    1- History list (top left): where you will see all messages you send or receive from others.
    2- User list     (top right): where all users, who at the moment are using RAABET's Chat, are listed.
    3- Command line     (middle): where you will write your messages or commands (see Help bellow).
    4- System message box (bottom left): where all system messages appear in red. It helps you to
    see the result of commands such as connections, disconnections, system requests etc.
    5- Command buttons (bottom right): these buttons are provided for you to your convenience to avoid typing commands.


Now see how to use RAABET's Chat program.

    Push the Connect button and wait couple of seconds to build the connection. In the System message box you can watch if you are connected, if not use server list button to change your server and push the Connect button again.

    Once you are connected you will see a list of user in the User list.
    (We suggest you first to change your nickname with the cammand /nick [an arbitrary name] in the command line, otherwise your messages will be send with an automatic created nickname like [U123] which will be hard for your chat partner to recognize you!
    And when you change your nickname see the red messages in System message box if the nickname you have chosen is already in use or not. If yes choose another one).

    At this point every thing you write in the command line will be sent to all user. Now if you want to Chat with a particular user click on the user nickname you want in the user list and push the Send private Msg button. At this point you activate the private mode and all your messages will be sent to your private chat partner.

    To end the session just push the Disconnect button.

    P.S. : Depends on Internet traffic sometimes you have to wait for connection.
